Preparing the Base
I choose a plain colored T-shirt and make sure the surface is smooth. I carefully place a laminated sheet or board inside so the paint doesn’t seep through.
Inking the Blocks
I pick different blocks and apply fabric paint evenly with a sponge. Sometimes I use more than one color that matches or contrasts with the T-shirt.
Printing the Design
I press the blocks firmly on the fabric to create patterns. I like to play with negative space using masking tape, combine two or more blocks, or layer them for interesting effects.
Finishing the Artwork
I let the paint dry completely, so it becomes permanent and washable.
